DIY Project #1

I'll admit that I'm obsessed with organizing things, as well as being a true collector. I enjoy new things, but am really reluctant in getting rid of old ones. I'm aware of the fact that I'll never go back to some things, but I still keep them... just in case. Such is the case with jewelry. Photos below show one part of the jewelry that I got organized this week. After seeing a couple of do-it-yourself tutorials on YouTube, I got some ideas regarding organization myself.

Todays do-it-yourself project is very simple and made out of things found in my home. The item in question is a wicker basket with compartments, like the ones for cutlery; I painted it with spray paint. To organize bracelets and watches, I used the cardboard from a paper towel roll, which I cut to fit and painted with the same paint. For rings, I made pockets out of cotton wool. As there was room left on the sides, I put glass trays in which I placed earrings and brooches.

It looks really nice, but I am still not completely satisfied. I'd like to find a piece of textile with a gentle floral print with which I'd cover the interior. It can always be better, right? I hope you like the idea. If you think there's something I could change or have tricks of your own, please write it in a comment.

Workplace

Do tada, uživajte u ovom postu!

I think that the place we work and study in is very important. I've decorated mine like this: it's an old Singer sewing machine that was converted into a desk that my mother used as a young girl. I'm using it these days and I don't believe it will ever be outdated. Soon, I'll cover my makeup desk on the blog, as well as some tricks for better organisation; until then, enjoy this post.

Pastel colours

Cold weather is coming, so I'm using the last opportunity to enjoy the nice weather by taking a walk and making photos of outfits like this one. Pastel colours are always trendy. The outfit was a great fit with the interior of my room, so that's where the photos were taken. I hope you like it.
